John Calvagna's practice focuses on defending matters with large exposure or catastrophic injuries. He has tried cases in multiple counties and litigated suits in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining Clinton & Clinton, John served as general counsel for an Orange County based commercial lender where he supervised litigation matters for the firm. He also managed a team of attorneys based in California and Virginia in litigating commercial and general liability disputes involving lender related claims and real estate professional malpractice actions. John has also lectured extensively on the topics of the effective use of motions in limine, defending real estate professionals in malpractice claims and a variety of litigation topics.

John is an avid follower of college football. In his spare time, John enjoys travelling with family and has an interest in Civil War history. He and his family reside in Orange County.
